My name is Jenny Thompson and I am a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in the state of California. I am a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania School of Social Work. Jenny works with people to help them tackle the “stigma” of mental illness. She specializes in working with the LGBTQ community to help them accept themselves for who they are. She works with people with a mental health issue to help them deal with their struggles and help them understand their identity.

Mental health as a general term refers to the mental health of an individual, which includes the illness, behavior, or mental state of an individual. When we talk about mental health, we are talking generally about that of an individual. Unfortunately, this means that mental health issues can have a real impact on our own lives and relationships.
