Youre lucky if you even get a result after three or four treatments. But they dont seem to care. They keep being told theyre just not getting enough results and theyre never going to get any better.
Well, the fact is, that as in some cases, the effects of any treatment youre using are so small, you can easily miss the point. Thats because the vast majority of medical treatments are actually a lot more complicated than the simple, straightforward treatments we have to deal with. It’s more like the effects of a high-level drug that is in high doses for a long time.
For example, there are side effects from taking the latest anti-cancer treatment. Some of them are very small (like fatigue), others are larger and more disruptive (like depression, heart problems, etc.). And even though theyre all relatively small, they create an enormous amount of health problems and disabilities.
These effects are cumulative. So if you take a high dosage of a new anti-cancer drug, the first few days are no joke. But in the long run, you may not need the drugs; the damage done to your health might be less than you thought.
As a side note, I think most of the people with depression are older than 50. And theyre all just as likely to be from a rich family. But the fact is, depression isn’t as easily treated as cancer. So if you want to know more about how to deal with it, you may need to get a bit more creative.
